The school’s Governing Body, leadership teams and staff in all roles place our learners at the heart of everything that we do. Everyone that works at Penyrheol understands the privilege that comes with serving and shaping our community.
Whilst we are very proud of the academic standards at Penyrheol, we value and celebrate many kinds of success. At Penyrheol, effort is valued every bit as much as attainment.
I am incredibly proud that Penyrheol is a truly inclusive and happy school where every learner is valued and respected and diversity is celebrated. We provide outstanding wellbeing support at Penyrheol because we understand that this is part of a high-quality educational experience which is the right of each and every one of our learners.
Our four core values are Respect, Aspire, Thrive and Belong. These core values were decided in consultation with learners, parents/carers, staff and governors. They reflect what we want our learners to develop and embody during their time with us.
We have fantastic facilities at Penyrheol. We have a dedicated, caring and highly skilled team of staff. However, our learners are our school, and they thrive when the school and home work in partnership.
